Just off the N9 between Middelburg and Graaff-Reinet, with the Renosterberg standing to the west, Erin Farmhouse is the du Toit family’s slice of the Karoo, and they share it generously. Self-catering cottages and farmhouse units welcome families and their pets, with braai facilities, free WiFi, and prepared meals available when you would rather not cook.
The farm does what the Karoo does best: birdwatching in the mornings, hiking in the afternoons, and stargazing at night under some of the darkest skies in the country. Guests consistently mention the comfort of the cottages and the peace of the place.
