Chameleon Bush Lodge is situated in the malaria-free central region of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, 40 km north of Pretoria’s Sefako Makgatho (Zambesi) intersection on the N1 North. The Hammanskraal / Boekenhoutskloof off ramp takes you to the 21 000 ha Dinokeng Game Reserve, a Public Private Partnership with Gauteng Provincial Government.
Dinokeng Game Reserve was officially opened on 22 September 2011 with the free roaming Big 5 in over 100 years in Gauteng Province.
From your bed or patio spot the abundant birdlife in the indigenous garden. Or watch game coming to drink at water holes just outside of the fences. Chameleon Bush Lodge is also home to a colony of springhare, who are very active in the early evenings.
Chameleon Bush Lodge can accommodate 26 guests in 5 “bachelor pad” layout chalets (sleep 10) in the Water Tower section; 4 one bedroom chalets (sleep 8) and 2 family chalets (sleep 8). The kitchens are fully equipped and each unit also has a built-in braai on its covered patio.
Different colour schemes and all fittings, equipment, finishes, bed linen, towels are top of range quality.
