The Fever Tree Guesthouse is set on the edge of the village of Hluhluwe in the heart of Zululand, in northern KwaZulu-Natal. This small town is situated between iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve. Our name was inspired by the beautiful fever trees (acacia xanthophloea) that are so much part of this area.
On this property, where everything that grows is either indigenous or edible, we offer a service that combines comfort and style with an ecological consciousness.
At The Fever Tree, we offer 4 creatively decorated rooms with beautifully fitted en-suite bathrooms the perfect extended stay facility with the customary coffee and tea making facilities and an earthy/African ambience that will make your stay here close to perfect.
All rooms have remote controlled televisions with six television channels, including M-Net and selected DSTV channels, ceiling fans, air-conditioning and towels are provided. Three rooms have private entrances and a small kitchenette. Guests have free use of the splash pool.
Our dining/reception room rooms opens on to the beautiful garden and swimming pool, while the lounge and other rooms have a view of the front garden. Birdlife is abundant, so bring along your binoculars and you could well be rewarded with some wonderful sightings.

Family room: R1,160 per night (Large room with queen bed; sleeper couch and bunk beds; with small kitchen and dining area; and balcony)
Umsinsi Cottage: A fully self-contained two bedroom cottage (both en-suite showers): R1,100 per night
Breakfast: R75 per person per meal
Dinner: R175 per person per meal
