The lodge is situated in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, approximately 5km out of town. Within a radius of 100km lie so many spectacular sceneraries and places of interest and adventure to explore which makes this an ideal base.GeM Bateleur is a 4-star, 10 bed private lodge with air conditioners throughout the facilities. The lodge is well equipped with almost anything one might need, including DsTV. A patio leads out to a small swimming pool and the braai area. The lodge is very suitable for groups of friends, family or colleagues to have a great time enjoying and bonding but at the same time it is cosy enough for a romantic break away. As this is a private lodge you will have the lodge to yourself, with daily service – even if you are only one couple. It is self-catering but breakfast is extra on request. Have your fire made and your meat braaied on request and enjoy long nights under the starry skies. This is a birding paradise and game viewing on your own. Almost 400 bird species are found in the area.
