The interior design of these spacious cottages are most attractive and all equipment and utensils are top-of-the-range. Absolutely everything we could have wanted was there, right down to complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and salad dressing!
We loved the indoor fireplace where we could braai on cold evenings, and also enjoyed the huge sofas with their many cushions where we could spread out and watch your favourite programmes on the big-screen TV. There is a lovely stand-alone Victorian bath in the upstairs room. The beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated the electric blankets for the winter.
Not many self-catering places are serviced daily: we felt thoroughly spoiled having two ladies come in each day to make beds, wash dishes and do a general tidy up. They were pleasant, efficient and discreet.
Nieuview had been designed to fit in with the look and the feel of the fisherman’s village of Paternoster. From the outside, it looks like a fisherman’s house – small windows, blue shutters, chimney window, thatch roof… But when you open the front door – you are in another world of luxury, the most beautiful sea views, interior design create an atmosphere of relaxation, rest, peacefulness ….. Each window is designed in such a way that is forms a unique, ever changing, living picture. It is amazing that although there are three cottages, there are very private and quiet.
This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. Set on South Africas wild West Coast, in the authentic fishing village of Paternoster, these exquisite cottages are located right on the beach.
Each cottage at Nieuview features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and a lounge with a satellite TV. They each have a private bathroom and a free-standing bath in the bedroom.
Cottage 1 and Cottage 2 boast sea views.
Cottage 3 (Penguins Nest) has more privacy and is therefore ideal for special occasions. Each of the cottages is fully serviced and flooded with natural light. Soak up the sun on the patio or take a romantic stroll along the beach. Maritime touches and warm colours complement every rooms welcoming atmosphere. This property also has one of the best-rated locations in Paternoster!
Guests are happier about it compared to other properties in the area. Couples particularly like the location.
